PrintSurvey
A site survey app for printing and signage businesses: photograph each wall, glass front or signboard, type its size, and leave the site with a PDF report. Works offline, no account needed. Free, with an optional one-time Pro and the PrintSurvey Cloud subscription for teams.
Measure once, on site
PrintSurvey is made for the people who measure shops, offices, schools and vehicles before the printing starts. Photograph each surface, type its size, and every measurement stays with its own photo, so the office never has to guess which size belongs to which wall. When the visit is done, the report is ready to send on WhatsApp before you leave.
It works with no internet connection and needs no account. The first time you open it, it asks where to keep your surveys: on this phone only, where nothing is uploaded, or in your Ahmedonics account.
In use
On site
- One area per surface (W01 Reception Wall, G01 Front Glass, S01 Signboard), each with its photo, size, notes and objects.
- Rooms: name a room, type the ceiling height once, and its four walls come with it, with a subtotal per room.
- Every size says how it was taken: measured, estimated from the photo, or given by the client. An estimate never looks like a measured figure.
- Long walls: measure in segments, or photograph a long wall in overlapping shots with wide capture.
- Mark AC units, sockets, pipes and windows on the photo, size them from standard sizes, and deduct them if you want. Draw labels, arrows and dimension lines on any photo.
- Pin the site position from the phone's satellites; the report carries a map link and a QR code to it.
- Feet and inches, inches, millimetres or centimetres.
After the visit
- A two-page PDF made on the phone: every area and its size on one page, every photo labelled on the next.
- A labelled image of each area, to send one surface to a designer.
- Share on WhatsApp, e-mail or any app, and move surveys between phones as files.
- Your clients in one book: their phone, address and jobs, and a new survey for a client with their details filled in.
- Back up your surveys to a file in a folder you choose and restore them on a new phone.

Questions
Does PrintSurvey need an internet connection?
No. A survey, its photos and the report are made on the phone with no connection, and the site position comes from the phone's satellites. The internet is used only for what you choose: looking up an address, sharing, Google Play purchases, and keeping surveys in your Ahmedonics account.
Do I need an account?
No. Keep your surveys on this phone only and nothing is uploaded. The Ahmedonics account is optional: it is how PrintSurvey Cloud keeps your surveys on every phone and shares them with your team, and you can delete it in the app or on the web at any time.
Pro or PrintSurvey Cloud?
Pro is one payment for the things a business adds once it relies on the app: its logo, quotations, client sign-off, its own templates and the full report. PrintSurvey Cloud adds saving to the cloud, every phone and the team, and includes Pro for everyone in the business. If you already own Pro, it stays yours.
Which phones does it run on?
Android 8.0 or later.
How do I get it?
From Google Play: PrintSurvey on Google Play. It is free to install; Pro and PrintSurvey Cloud are optional.
