Custom engineering and hardware
Embedded systems, IoT devices and custom electronics designed to solve a specific problem, with the firmware, software and documentation to manufacture, deploy and support them.
What we design
- Embedded controllers for equipment, instruments and machines, with firmware written for reliability and field updates.
- IoT and monitoring devices that measure, log and report over Wi-Fi, cellular or wired networks, with the server software to match.
- Custom electronics: sensor interfaces, power and battery management, control boards, and enclosures for real operating environments.
- Companion software: configuration utilities, dashboards, firmware update services and APIs.
From idea to producible design
- Requirements and feasibility — the measurable requirements, environment, certifications in scope, target cost and quantities, and the risks worth an experiment before committing.
- Design and prototype — schematics, PCB layout, firmware and mechanical design, with a numbered revision from the first build onward.
- Validation — a written test plan and recorded results for function, environment and endurance. Failures become changes in the next revision, never silent edits.
- Pilot and release — small-batch build, field trial, then a released revision with a full manufacturing pack: BOM, Gerbers, assembly notes, test procedure and firmware images.
Engineering records
Every product we design has a permanent record: requirements, decisions with their reasons, experiments, revisions and test results. Released revisions are immutable. When a component goes obsolete or a customer needs a variant, the history is there to work from.
What we do not do
We are not a repair or resale business. We do not service consumer electronics, inverters, laptops or phones, and we do not supply generic components. If your need is repair, a local specialist is the right call; if it is a device that does not exist yet, talk to us.
Questions we are often asked
Do you manufacture?
We design for manufacture and manage prototype and pilot builds. Volume production is handled with a manufacturing partner using our documentation, or by your own supplier.
Who owns the design?
For bespoke work, you do: schematics, layouts, firmware and documentation are delivered and yours to produce elsewhere. Our own products remain ours and are offered under their product terms.
